Worry Woo Monsters Review

IFSince Mini Me is at that magical age of “ew I’m so fat” and “Gawd, I am soooo ugly” you can imagine that I am so tired of having to tell her how beautiful she is EVERYDAY. Ok not really tired of saying it, it’s more, tired of having to try and convince her. But of course, I am mom so my opinion doesn’t count but seriously, does she look fat and ugly to you?

IFI am always trying to figure out a way to get her to understand what I see, but nothing. So then I found the Worry Woos!! These lovable Monsters were created by Andi Green as The Monsters in My Head and they symbolized the different emotions that a person can feel with the message of “embrace your emotions”.

IFThe Worry Woos originally started out as artwork, then they became books and eventually these plush little guys. The different emotions you can find with the Worry Woos are Nola, the Monster of Loneliness, Rue, the Monster of Insecurity, Fuddle, the Monster of Confusion, Squeek, the Monster of Innocence, Twitch, the Monster of Frustration and Wince, the Monster of Worry. Wince is the biggest worrier of them all!

IFI chose to get Rue for my girl since he is the Monster of Insecurity. You see, Rue has a BIG nose and doesn’t like his nose. So Rue decides that he wants to do something about his big nose and sets out on a journey to see a wizard that can shrink his nose. He succeeds and finally gets the nose of his dreams but soon begins to miss his old nose and then as I was expecting, he finally learned to love himself, big nose and all.

IFNot only is Rue, really adorable, at least in my opinion, he also teaches a very valuable lesson. But I would have to say my favorite thing is the artwork, it is so detailed and unique. I think this Rue and the book will be with us for quite some time, simply because of the uniqueness!!
