As I talked about last week, we are not ready for summer to be over and have been taking little mini vacations on the weekends. With a trip to the zoo, hanging out at the park and swimming at the grandparents, we are making the most of the nice warm weather we have for now.
I also teased last week about a treat I was planning on making for the kids for our next trip. When I headed to my Snackation Destination, Walmart. Peanut butter, jelly and graham crackers? Why yes, I made PB&J Grahamwiches and they were a hit.
3 Simple, yet delicious and nutritious ingredients made for a treat the kids cannot get enough of and truth be told, neither can I!
Split a graham cracker in half. You may end up having a lot of broken pieces, I know I did, don’t fret, these are perfect for dipping, save them.
Spread on some Jif Whips, it works the best because it is so creamy and smooth.
Add some Smuckers Jelly! We prefer to go the traditional route with grape jelly, it’s just the best!
And there you have it, a PB&J Grahamwich! An ooey gooey and yes, oh so messy and totally worth it treat. What is more classic than PB&J?
What special treats would you make for your Snackation?
