Since my son turned 6, he has been asking for an iPod like his sister so that he can listen to music too. Now, that is NOT gonna happen as I think 6 is WAY too young, but I am planning on getting him a child friendly CD player for Christmas. We already have 1 CD for him and will collect more and also burn some discs for him, but what we need to go with a CD player is a sturdy and kid friendly pair of headphones.
Kidz Gear to the rescue!!
About Kidz Gear
One of my favorite features of the headphones is the KidzControl Volume Limit Technology as it does not allow for kids to listen to the music too loud. The max volume is about 20 decibels LOWER than the normal maximum is! That is VERY important and I wish that I had something like that for my daughter when she was little, or heck, MYSELF as a teen!!
The headphones come in five fun and vibrant colors: Blue, Lime Green, Orange, Pink and Purple!!
They also have a white, gray and a wireless set, however the white is a limited edition and the gray is “back by popular demand” but I do not know how long they are around, and the wireless is $10 more than the basic! I personally have no need for the wireless, however I can see how that would be important for many parents to provide for their kids.
Of course I chose blue as that is Gavin’s favorite color! They also sent us their 3.5mm splitter cable so he can share his music with his sister (not sure that will happen, but hey you never know) and a Headphone Carry Bag to help store and protect the headphones!
I think that Kidz Gear headphones would make a GREAT gift for the young kid in your life since they are both durable and affordable and of course COLORFUL!!
